My second weekend of here in Australia, I went out and stayed with a friend in a little country town called Crows Nest. The town is named after Jimmy Crow, an aboriginal man who lived in a hollowed out tree. The tree in the photo isnt the actual tree but it is a replica that is supposed to be just like the one he lived in. Back when he was alive, the early cattle men would stop at "Crows Nest" to ask Jimmy Crow for directions on their way down from the high country. So when it came time to establish a community in that area, the town was appropriately named Crows Nest
